About
I am a community/ecosystem ecologist in training. My focus is on belowground interactions and processes and how they go on to affect ecosystem-scale processes. As a native Texan, most of my research centers around how these processes play out in Texas grasslands to predict how these ecosystems will change due to climate change.

I love to talk about all things plants, ecology, and soil related! Please feel free to reach out to chat more about science. My email: sarahortiz147@utexas.edu
